Thirty five beaches stretch along the coast of Aguilas. Side by side with rocky headlands we find coves carpeted with sand of different colours and textures, thanks to the mineral deposits which make up the land and the effect on them of the continual erosion.

Specially note worthy are the Four Coves to be found right to the south at the limit with the province of Almería they make up a Protected Natural Area of great beauty. Four wide ays make up the landscape of Aguilas- starting from the south they are Poniente, Levante, el hornillo with the Fraile island, and calabardina.

Many unspoilt coves are to be found further north going up the coast from CAbo Cope towards the boundary of the Lorca rural area.

Right in the middle of the town we find two lovely esplanades, called Levante and Poniente bordering the bays and serviced by all sorts of facilities.

Aguilas is proud of its six Blue Ensing beaches five other beaches and its yacht harbour which underline the high quality of the water and the environment in general.
