Murcia routes hormigas islands
There are boat trips from CAbo de Palos all year round. The first stop
is known as the Bajo de Enmedio a shallow where the rocky points of
the isles are just four metres below sea level. Here it is possible
to see various species of fish as well as the habitual fauna of Cabo
de Palos.
The sea bed is rocky covered in sea weed and marine growth. In the
area known as Bajo de Fuera just past the lighthouse isle the sea bed
is more or less the same with the added interest of the many remains
of shipwrecked vessels visible as of a depth of 30 metres.
