Caravaca monuments

Caravaca boats monuments of very different atyles and periods. Its jewel raises above the templars in the 15th century.

It is the sanctuary of la vera cruz a solid group of monuments that shows balconies and bay windows on the outside as well as a magnificent baroque façade in red marble.

Two kms away from the city water springs from the rock forming the attractive Fuentes del marques in the Templarios tower there is now a Learning Centre, where natural and economic aspects of the area are taught.

The rocky north-western massifs are already visible. An interesting choice would take us on horseback to the slopes of the sierra del Gavilán. If we decide to cycle we may ascend to the Nevazo area, equipped with basic picnic facilities. We may also opt for the interesting climb up to pico del Buitre, with a superb view of the neighbouring sierras in Moratalla.
