Mazarron Festivities

In March from 12 to 20th the festival in honour of San José is celebrated; the bonfire that is built on the beach and the torch races that are held on the maritime walk are of interest. Then in the summer the traditional procession of the Virgen del Carmen in playa de mazarrón 16th of july.

From 13 to 20th November the most rooted of the fiestas in the area are held at Bolnuevo: La Romería del Milagro de la purísima, the patron saint, where the routing of the Moors is re-enacted accompanied by typical gastronomical delicacies on the beach.
